Thrustmaster Direct Drive Lineup
Thrustmaster has two current DD wheelbases using fundamentally different motor technologies. The T598 features Thrustmaster's proprietary Direct Axial Drive — an axial-flux motor delivering zero-cogging operation, 100% torque overshoot for peak effects, and HARMONY high-frequency FFB, comparable to zero-cogging motors in MOZA R25 Ultra and Simagic EVO but in a more compact and affordable package. The T818 uses a standard radial-flux DD servo without zero-cogging. Both bases lack Xbox support and pedal ports — pedals connect directly to PC via USB. Legacy wheels require a paid QR adapter.
